Ironman Coeur d'Alene Race Report

Well it was a tough day out there for everyone but the end result was so sweet. As with any IM I always have a couple of goals. 1) Finish - Check 2) Qualify for Kona - Check 3) 9:45 - not quite but it's possible You can read my detailed race report here - http://www.vandertri.com/racing.html My second Ironman race 51st overall and 10th in the tough 35-39 age group finishing in 10:06:05.

you rocked it at cda ironman, i actually remember passing you on the bike, then you passed me, then I passed you, and then you passed me. It went on like that for some time. Then you passed me and you completely smoked me on the run. I finished in 11:09 it was my first ironman.

You shouldn't tell everyone on your blog that you are going against your coaches wishes on a public blog thinking he won't hear about it! Have a good swim in the lake Sunday Michael.
