Training Partners, Training Groups, Event Meet-ups, Business Relationships, Friends
I'd most like to meet people from (separate multiple locations with commas):
All walks of life... Just as long as you are fun and friendly!
My Tri Story:
I got into this crazy sport 6yrs ago standing on the sideline watching a couple of buddies compete in the last Ironman California in Oceanside. It was quite a humbling experience being a spectator and from that moment on I wanted to give it a “tri.”
Having a background in swimming and water polo I knew this would give me some advantage over others; I mistaken. With little to no experience in cycling and running, I started from scratch. Since then I have completed several triathlon distances, 25+ marathons and a few IM’s: FL, CDA, AZ, and WI.
Thanks for the support. As you know finishing is the final step of a journey that takes many months. It was fun and rewarding and I'm already making plans for IMCDA next June.
Hi Paul, thanks for your note...I was a bit apprehensive about joining this network being a newbie but so far I have been very impressed with everyone friendly attitude, even the pros like yourself.
I have been in Thailand for 4 years now and I love it and yes the food is fab!! Training is quite hard here because of the heat and humidity but I love training so much that I don't care and I am extremely excited about getting into this sport in a big way!! Hopefully one day I will have a page like yours, haha!
Great to meet you and may be looking to you for some hot tips. Shirl
As you know it is great just to finish your training and just do the event. I'm really ready mentally.
I drove the bike course today. It is so flat. I'm looking forward to the challenge. The weather is forecasted to be 75/49 with light wind. Water temp 70 so wet suit allowed. I hope God blesses me with a PR and health.
Hi Paul!
I actually don't live in Kailua-Kona, I live in Kailua on Oahu. I wish I was at the Ironman a few weeks ago!!! It's one of my goals to get there!
You are an Ironman! Don't know if you recieved my im on Sunday, I was watching the live webcast hoping to catch a glimpse of you speeding by on the course. I am not on Facebook yet, working on it though - when you get back to the OC? Woody & I will be in SoCal Nov 29-Dec 8 -29-31 in the OC and 1-8 in Palm Springs - hope to see you while we are in the area. How are you feeling? Congratulations my friend!
hello paul, sorry for the 1 month late reply. Unfortunately i wasn't able to attend my cuz rome's wedding due to the, err, miles apart issue. (I'm still in P.I) Anywho, thanks for being a friend. keep in touch. god bless!

Hi Paul, great page! thanks for all the luck, I will need it for Barcelona! Looks like you are quite the runner... good luck with all your races to come, looking forward to seeing updates! Nes
I love Nice and love the Mediterranean water. IM France was a great race for me. The swim ocean was great, the bike course was tough but worth the view, and the run along the promenade was super flat. I would definitely reccommend it.
