My Tri Story:
Well... I'm yet another who grew up watching IM Kona on NBC every fall since I was 11 or 12. I've always enjoyed the three disciplines, but never thought of doing a tri until I got the opportunity to volunteer for the Duke Iron Devil race in 2004. I met someone very inspirational at that event who encouraged me to train and do.. and. so i did begin training that year .... but then I was pregnant... so it got shelved until 2007. I completed a mod-course sprint dist race... and I"m hooked I love it. Someday... though.. Kona. I must do Kona... in 12hrs or less :) Anyways... I love this sport and it's people... and it's heart. It's got heart.
