Back on the horse

Been sick for 2 stinkin weeks.  Still hacking like fiend but started training again.  1450 in the pool lastnight, then 950 today before 1:45 on the MTB in the snow and mud.

1000 Yard TT

I swam my 1000 yard TT for the Dark Star ePostal Swim Meet today.  To give a little background, I typically swim about 8000-15000 yards per week.  In the swimming world, that's not much volume.  In fact, for elite swimmers that's one day of swimming.

Finally

Henschotermeer Games

Yesterday I participated in the LD off-road duathlon in henschotermeergames.nl. Very nice race. First three laps of 2.2 km running arround the lake mostly through loose sand, then 18km MTB, and finally two more laps around the lake. After the first course I was the third from behind. Not quite good. During cycling I have caught up half of the field. In the last two rounds of running no one passed me and I finished 17th of the 32…
