"I saw a lady do that at Ironman Louisville, my first. She came to Ironman camp two months before and just watched us, didn't work out with us, wasn't sure if she should do it, hadn't been training. For sure I didn't think I…"

Instead of buying a brand, I suggest trying on and swimming in several different suits to find one that fits you well.
It should be tight enough that it doesn't take on a lot of water, but not so tight that it constricts your breathing.…"
Ironman Louisville will be my first full. I have done a bunch of halfs so I think its time. Ultimate goal is to get to Kona.
My Tri Story:
I have struggled with asthma and its complications for a long time and not been able to participate in athletics much. About 20 years ago my friend Charles had kidney failure and had to have TWO kidney trasplants. Not long after he recovered he trained for and completed the Hawaii Ironman. When I was listening to him tell his story about what he had been through and how exercise had helped him in so many ways, something clicked in my mind and right then I knew triathlon could help me and getting to Kona would be my goal. So my first tri was twenty years ago and I did them off and on due to the asthma complication issue.. Then about 4 years ago I started developing high blood pressure and high cholesteral and the doctor put me on medications for them. Didn't like the side effects and I also started to gain weight. So one day I decided "the hell with this!" I'm not going to end up sitting on the couch and taking a handful of pills every day with all the side effects. I'm going to fight the good fight! So I started the AbsDiet and lost 20 lbs. and made completing a half Ironman my goal. Started running and learned how to swim. Took a year to get up to swimming a mile! Now I've done 9 halfs a triple Olympic tri and I've been to Clearwater twice. Still getting stronger and faster, not that I'm real fast - I just thank God that is the direction I am heading. I am also very grateful for all of the triathlon, running, biking and swimming friends I have met along the way. You meet the best people on a run or a bike ride. My last checkup was perfect! It really is the journey thats important.

I am a USAT Triathlon Certified Coach (8 years now), an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, have raced 60+ triathlons, from sprints to full Ironman distances, including the Kona Ironman World Championships. I own and operate In Training, LLC, which is Utah's only stand-alone, fulltime, triathlon coaching company, and have coached over 600 people over the past 8 years.....from complete beginners, to average age-groupers, and many elite athletes as well.
If you'd like to learn more about my online coaching services, please feel free to ask. Oh, and I coached about 15 people for this particular race last year, and have ridden/ran the course so I am very familiar with it.
