My Tri Story:
Thanks to a new baby, a demanding job with travel, buying a house that was built in 1966 and a deep affinity for micro-brewed beer, I was 238 lbs when I registered for IMKY on 10/9/10. I've completed three marathons in between taking 2008 off to deal with cancer and 2010 to begin training for fatherhood. Always wanted to do an Ironman. What better time than now? As of 12/27, down to 218. Looking to educate myself on tri's and get better every day.
Long course (or approx 140.6 mi/225.3km)
My best race was...
2006 Fox Valley Marathon

Dave Conn from NC. I am the gentleman/clydesdale doing FL in a little over 24 days. A question-did you do any centuries for your bike training? I have done one, multiple 4 and five hour rides and will attempt to do one more. I am just curious! My swim has improved tremendously and so has the run. I want to make sure that I am okay on the bike.
Hey Rick!! It's great to know someone out there got something from my IMKY2010 race report. Really glad it helped. This year, I opted to do IM Lake Placid and it was a great day. I can send you that race report too. I making my way through your race report now and it's a great read! OUTSTANDING JOB! You are an IRONMAN!!!
