Great race report. Thanks for writing it. For me it would take longer to write a race report than it took to run IMSG. You really captured my experience and much better than I could. Thank you again.

My Tri Story:
In 2004 my wife gave me a gift (personal trainer) at Life Works. It included some physical fitness goal setting. I thought it would be cool to do a tri. I did a sprint and was smoked by some pretty old ladies, so I readjusted my goals to do more than just finish a tri. 5 years later I am going to do my first full IM, in St. George Utah.

My best race was...
I feel very fortunate that I have not had any bad races. Some races are more memorable than others. I am just an age grouper, I just do the best I can and don't look back, I am extremely grateful to be able to physically do all that I do. So I do what I do because I can and don't want to waste what I have. My best race is the race of life and I am in the thick of it now.

Well, your training for Ironman St. George is about to start and I just wanted to introduce myself just in case you are interested in online coaching for the race. I am a USAT Triathlon Certified Coach (8 years now), an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, have raced 60+ triathlons, from sprints to full Ironman distances, including the Kona Ironman World Championships. I own and operate In Training, LLC, which is Utah's only stand-alone, fulltime, triathlon coaching company, and have coached over 600 people over the past 8 years.....from complete beginners, to average age-groupers, and many elite athletes as well.
If you'd like to learn more about my online coaching services, please feel free to ask. Oh, and I coached about 15 people for this particular race last year, and have ridden/ran the course so I am very familiar with it.
