Thanks for your reply. As for your May marathon, it will take about 2-4 weeks to fully recover from that race, so make sure you plan your tri at least 2 weeks later (Sprint) or more. And one thing I learned a long time ago is that a Marathon hurts a lot worse than an Olympic distance tri so if you wanted to start with an Oly distance, that would be fine.
Thanks for adding me as your friend! And btw, you replied back to yourself (see below) when you thought you were replying to me. I've done that a few times myself. That is way cool that your daughter is your running partner. I would love it if my kids wanted to train with me, but since I do this for a living, they are burned out from all this tri-stuff and they really don't give a hoot, even though my son is an awesome swimmer!
