I really like just hanging with all the other Mad Dogs. I like laying around sleeping and paddling around the pool a bit. Having my belly rubbed I love that. Hey, it's a Dog's Life!
My Tri Story:
I started tris when I was just a little pup and then I grew up to be a Mad Dog. Swimming came kind of naturally. With four legs I had to work on the bike part really hard. My parents always taught me that a dog can do anything and be anything it wants to be.

Hello Mad dogs,
How does one go about joining? A little about myself, I was born in Clearwater ( Morton Plant) but moved up north. My family is all still in the Dunedin/Pinellas park area so I get back to the sun whenever I can.
Anyway, I am in my second year of doing triathlons and love it.
I have a dream to someday do the Clearwater 70.3. I just think that would be so awesome being born there and all. I have a long way to go but someday.
Do I have to be from the St. Pete area to join here, I would love to keep in touch with what is happening in the area in regards to Multi-sport.

Rock on !!

Thanks for the info on the wednesday night swim. I was under the impression that you had to complete a triathlon before participating with the Mad Dogs, am I wrong? I would love to come out and train with some seasoned triathletes!

Thats good, what do I have to do to become a membership of the mad dogs here in Germany. Is it a disadvantage if I work with the aeromaxteam in Australia and with the peperoncinoteam in Italy, hope not, cheers - Bernhard

I owe a lot of my training to the Mad Dogs. They opened their work outs and their hearts for a little 13 year old kid. I will ALWAYS be a Mad Dog!
Thanks ;)

I joined the Mad Dogs 3 months ago. maybe I will see you on Sat. at the party when we sign up for St. Anthony's. I have signed up for five 70.3 races next year. I hope to also get a lottery slot for the Cleatwater race next year. this year I was a volunteer on Friday and Saturday and I can't wait to race again. see you Saturday.
