I'm so sorry about your injury, I empathize with you, my season last year was plagued with one injury after another. I have been sooo super careful and cautious this season to avoid those injuries again. The most "murphy's law" one, the night before a race, my then, 2 year old little girl dropped a glass, it broke, and shards of glass were imbedded in my foot, i spent hours the night before the race digging out glass, during my race, I felt each slice with each foot step. after my race my socks were laden with blood. Let's just say I over-do it now and always have shoes on in my house. paranoid, yes. repeating history, never. just one of my of my adventures last season. That's neat that you know another Tracy McDermott, very cool. Yes, my whole family read your blog last night, we just got such a huge kick out of your rendition of Lakeside. We are so proud of you for winning, you are our hero. Yes, my son reminded me that the model name of my Aero Helmet is appropriately named "The Rocket" and that's the only reason I bought it, because I wanted to be a rocket. Yes, I'm a dork. I feel so blessed that you wrote, I hope your injuries heal fast for you. Don't over-do it. I always pushed to fast and didn't heal 100% and that made it worse. So try to do nothing for a bit. What is your injury? If it's easier, you can email me at tracymacrocks@aol.com Love, Tracy
