"I did the race. I believe it was 6600 and 2400 respectively (bike/run). I train in Florida. From others I spoke with and my experience you can plan on finishing IMSG in 1+ from your normal IM time. Normal = most IM courses."
"(My first post)
4000 Swim (alternating slow and fast 500's) + 6 mile run (last 3 pretty fast) + 40 min bike trainer.
The 3 workouts in a day is not usual - making up for a missed workout earlier in the week."
thanks for all that info jesse! yea, I'm somewhat concerned about road conditions. that tends to annoy me when they are ridiculously bumpy and I've heard that. Any special tire selection you think? I heard the weather was crazy right up until race day, but just trying to remember that everyone will face the same conditions. what was the water temp last year? thanks for all the tips!
I'm doing IMSTG 2011 and I live in florida as well. did you do a lot of training in clermont for st. george or travel alot for hill work? did you feel prepared for the course? this will be my second IM.... congrats on your race!
