"Great Job on a finish to those that did...It was an AWESOME day for sure. I had several goals myself....finish, finish before dark (my wife's request), and finish sub-12 (I had no idea what to really expect at this distance). I finished in…"
"Great finish Chad, sorry you didn't make Kona. Looked at your stats yesterday and was blown away!!! Great job. I am happy to say that I finished and was under my time goal of thirteen hours(13) 12:57. I'll take it. The second loop on the…"
"Great job to all of the IMLP 09 finishers! I had a good race, but fell short of Kona. I finished 5th in my age group and they took up to 4th place. So I missed Kona by one spot. :( Still happy with a podium spot..."
"Two days to go! Remember that the race is Sunday and try not to get caught up in the "Ironman" spectacle in town. You can easily spend way too much time at the expo, sightseeing, etc.
The expo is a nice thing to walk through, but do just…"
"Stephen-When are you getting into town? I'm getting in around midday Thursday and looking forward to seeing all of you guys!! I'm staying in a house down in Keene, so if you need some peace and quiet away from town, just let me know.…"

Started off a few years ago like many others, I was getting to the VERY late 30's was overweight, reminiscing about the good ol' days when I was in the ARMY and could do the 2 mile PT test in 11 minutes. I then decided it was time to stop thinking about that and do something. Got into Triathlon through TNT and never looked back!
Nope, they don't run with me. I've tried - but I think they are sticking with their "I'm retired and you can't make me run" attitude. But, give them an open field and they will chase each other forever!!! Sorry to hear about your accident. OUCH!!!
Oh thx for the comment on the video, the swim start does look awesome. Infact I have a still photo of the swimmers jumping off as my wallpaper on my computer.. My Mom is from Norway and says that the fjords are soo deep and the constant run off from the mountains keeps the h20 so clear!
Sorry to hear of your cycling accident and injury. There is a strong triathlete from Dallas named "Tati" who you might 'friend' or pose this question to. She is just getting back after a significant lay-off. She may not see your forum. Just thought I would try to connect the two of you. Good luck recovering man.
