I'm a person who enjoys getting out and experiencing the world. I don't spend much time in front of the T.V. I enjoy training...keep the next race in the forefront of my mind but making sure I have balance. I would say that I'm die hard about competing but I do like a challenge. Beside Tri training I enjoy the outdoors: backpacking, mt biking, sportsman activities with my bros and Dad; but I like to stay fit because I like to practice what I preach.
My Tri Story:
I competed in my first Tri Sprint May 2007 and fell in love with it. The cross training helps to maintain every inch of my body. This year I'm going to take it to the next level; do another 1/2 Tri and a couple of other races.
Thanks for the kind words James. Those experiences were the best in my life (with the exception of my son's birth). Glad to see another triathlete in the area who is as stoked about the sport as I am. Best of training to you!
James I too am looking forward to SOMA!!!!! It will be my first 70.3. I think I am ready right now but we just have to continue to train! I am thinking about getting in another 70.3 before SOMA. I think there is one up in the Nevada area around lake Mead or something. Let me know if you want to do some rides together. I ride with my GF now and although she is fast she cant seem to hang. I give her credit though, she just doesn't stop! Keep in touch..
