Hey! I good. Little sore and tired but that's to be expected right?! I had a blast out on the course! That was the most incredible thing I've ever done. I did better than I thought I would and finished in 13:56:50(something). So cool! How you feeling??
We arrived late yesterday afternoon. Staying at the Mission Palms hotel. I'm not going to be checking this site too often for the next few days. My mobile number is 484 686 6087 if you want to text or firstname.lastname@example.org for email.
Yes, have been ready to travel for a while, Ha! I also get there sometime Thursday afternoon. Figure that would be enough time to get somewhat used to the weather and hydrated after flying for the race.
Congrats on a PR in TX! Since I didn't finish, I'm going back next year to redeem myself.
Agreed, the water was bone chilling the first year. I thought it was warmer the second year. It was much hotter there the second year as well. I got a very mild sunburn the day before while training because i didn't realize how strong the sun was.
No, I have no confidence for AZ. Like you, I became very busy with work after IMWI. My training has been almost non-existent. I hoping my experience pays off. I will probably register for next year's race on Saturday.
Yes, I'm on FB - Christine Stotler. It's the same picture as here.
