Actually probably not doing lake stevens and maybe calgary instead. But one of my sisters lives in seattle so I would visit her and do lake stevens.

Runner then triathlete? Sounds like me. Nothing in AZ, though. Being from Wisconsin, I think the AZ heat would kill me if I tried to do anything more than sit in the shade down there. :) Good luck at AZ IM. One of the guys from our team here has done it twice - he says it's a very good race.

Eric

I happy to be your iAmTri friend. I love your site's little blue man logo. Does he have a name?

Congrats on your IMAZ finish. I know first hand how hard those hot conditions were. I had a much longer recovery time from the 95 degree marathon we had to run in.

It is a wonderful sport and more like a life style. In many ways, I'm like you, I don't know why I do it but it is sure fun. I have several athletes I coach who don't really care if they ever get to Kona. For me, while winning the world championship would be great, it would not define my triathlon career. I've told others that helping others get across the finish line means as much if not more than my own championships.

Good luck in the future and if I can every answer any question for you, please ask.

I look forward to doing AZ again someday and if I do I'll let you know because I would love to meet you.

God bless you,
Heather

Yea... IMAZ '08 was my third and last IM. I am sticking to 1/2 IM and shorter now so that I can have a little fun outside of the sport too. :)
