I started running marathons when I was 19. I've now completed 8 marathons and a hand full of half's/road roads. This past October I qualified for the Boston Marathon with a 3:08 at Baystate. The Boston Marathon was a great experience and a huge goal of mind. I ran it in a 3:30 after falling off a 3 hr pace during the first half of the race. I'll be ready for those Newton hills next year.
Recently I've make the switch to triathlons as I have always been an avid swimmer, competing from age 6 through part of college. My first taste was a sprint in at the Cranberry Tri Fest 2009, my first triathlon experience. Finished 2nd in my age group and 26th overall.
Mooseman 2010 in June was my next experience. Ironman Lake Placid 2010 is next...Time to become a real man.
