Major---gorgeous bike...does she have a name yet? That is a love affair that is going to last a long time!
Great training everyone...unbelievable how far some of us already are. I'm not there yet but my program will bring to St. George lean, strong…
Come on folks....where are we? We joined this group because of our passion for multisport. We need to find a way to get together. I like the chat idea but unfortunately Saturdays are out for me.
Don't let the snake in my avatar scare you! They bite…
Forgot to add that my building has nice shower facilities that I can get you in post-workout if you don't want to go back to work all sweaty. My co-workers are used to letting me know I have dried salt crystals on my face so I rarely use it unless I…
Anybody work in Denver and want to join me for lunchtime rides (once the snow is gone of course) and runs. I'm training for IM St. George and need to capitolize on my lunch hour as I have a busy family at home. I can also meet for early morning acti…
I'm in for the 70.3 challenge and I'll likely be able to talk my brother into it as well. We will be coming from CO and WY so we will definitely be looking forward to an outdoor ride by then.
I've worn a surfing wetsuit and from experience it sucks. There is little range of motion in the shoulders which makes swimming difficult. It will be better than freezing though.
As far as surfing wettsuits being an advantage, I don't know haw they…

WOW! Great sighting. Do you keep a list of the wildlife you have seen from in your pool, rescued from your pool, or planned a funeral for due to drowning. Sounds like it could be quite the list.
Hey Cameron ~ sorry it's taken some time (been busy with the Fat Man and all!). As for your kids, we train outside since we're in beautiful sunny Florida so I really don't have too many indoor exercises to offer...but will remind you that if the kids are not having fun, they will stop whatever they're doing immediately! So if you can, keep the activities short, ever-changing and with an immediate response to their actions, such as:
1) make an indoor agilities course complete with track, obstacles to overcome and problems to solve
2) remember the Army ~ make them do one silly thing (like carrying a heavy ball around the house, up the stairs and back down through the basement) then repeat it over and over but for a prize
3) create a competition with "fake friends" ~ have them create monsters or imaginary friends who also "compete" in the events and you give them results to keep your kids motivated
I have tried these myself with great success ~ hope this helps!!

Would love to talk to you about your kids! I am always happy to help parents get their kids off the couch and on the streets! :) Diane
Hi Cameron,
I am suprised/happy to see that someone else from Louisville is doing IMSG. My husband is doing it also, it will be his first IM.
I would love to join you on rides or runs. I have been training with btc on Sunday runs. Are you familiar with them? I need to get on my bike soon, I've been neglecting it:/
Take care,
Laura
