Hey, just took in the Chinook Half in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday. This has got to be one of the most scenic bike courses I have ever seen. Straight out to the Rocky Mountains and back with a few really good hills along the way. This one really separates the trained from the untrained.

Any way fyi, bike ride today, 42min out 21 back, wind 44kmh/71mph got back just in time to miss the snow. I guess I should qualify the snow part. It's actually called thunder snow. That's when you have a snow storm with lightning and thunder.

Sure, some people have the idea that once you cross the boarder into Canada the temperature drops to about -30. In reality some of our most northern cities
can reach temperatures in the summer over 35 degrees c. That’s 95 for our friends
