Welcome to iamtri. I like your "Give me a Beat" song. This is a great site to get connected and share info and expertise. Sounds like you are in a great mentoring spot with your cross country team. I am an assistant lacrosse coach for one of my sons (11th grader) and my conditioning from a triathlon lifestyle wins me big points with the young men....Nice to be able to keep up with the teenagers. Good luck continuing to bring your 70.3 times down. There is an "Irondads" group under the 'group' link that you might find interesting.

By day I have the greatest job on earth- High School Teacher. Cedar Ridge is an awesome place to be!
This year I get to contribute to our Cross Country program and spread my love tri's and all that goes into the life I lead. My beautiful wife Tavie and I have two super kids who hop and skip through life in a way that makes us so proud.
My Tri Story:
This is my second full year in the sport. I have worked with Caoch Jay Crooker since the beginning and he has been a super influence on how I go about my training and my attitude toward progress.
Last year I ended my first season with a Half IM just under 6-hours. Progress has been made in that my second Half was completed in 5:41. My A race for the year is coming up and I hope to break the 5:30 mark.
