Traveled back to our home in Decatur, Alabama after being away for 67 days. A somewhat strange feeling! Proving that a structure stays the same,,,,but WE change and grow, etc.
Spent the entire weekend unpacking, cleaning, mowing lawn, and of course,…

- I have been involved in triathlons since 1996. I have competed in literally hundreds of races since my start...anything from sprint to IM distance.
I love the sport and especially enjoy seeing new people getting into the sport. I feel it's important for seasoned triathletes to foster a motivating attitude towards the newbies. It helps to reflect back on when we first got started.

A Great Weekend!
OK....it's Sunday night and just sitting here reflecting back on a wonderful weekend! Savannah finished her first full week back in school (2nd grade this year) and had a really good 5 days. We did our traditional "Friday night Mom and daughter night out" by going to our favorite local eatery, The Brick. Getting my life back to normal weekend
Traveled back to our home in Decatur, Alabama after being away for 67 days. A somewhat strange feeling! Proving that a structure stays the same,,,,but WE change and grow, etc.
Spent the entire weekend unpacking, cleaning, mowing lawn, and of course, staying on mark with training. Got in a really nice bike ride of 50 miles on Saturday followed by a 6 mile run. It was excruciatingly hot as I began the run and knew I needed to control my pace to offset the cardiac drift that happens under extreme h… Continue
