I am a chronic age grouper that typically fnishes in the top 25% of my age group. I hope to improve that this coming year with a more focused training plan.
My Tri Story:
I started out as a runner, and enjoyed the 10k races. I attempted my first olympic and it kicked my butt. After hearing of a friend doign Ironman Florida, i decided to register for one, and see what happened. Once i signed up, and started training, i was in love.
Rock and rollman seemed fine for my 2nd half. It felt better and did almost the same time for hilly coarse vs a flat one. It took me a week and a half to recover. I am thinking of doing the hot dogget. 100miles will be pushing it for me but I'm probably in.
I'm down for training any time I'm off just let me know. Probably doing a 4-5hr or longer ride on wed or thurs if you interested. Give me a call when your thinking of training.
