Have to take my bike to Seattle saturday to be transported to the race but I feel like I still need to ride. Someone smack me and remind me that if I don't have the milage now, one more week won't help....

Thanks Lynn for the idea but I will be traveling home from Alaska that day. I'm presenting at a conference up there. I would have run Bloomsday that weekend but I know there's no way I could run the day after I get home from a conference. I think I'm going to look for a triathlon in June now. Might as well get my feet wet. hehehehehe

I'm thinking about doing it. The St Paddy's Run this past Saturday was very well run, fun and very affordable!

Yes. A half marathon (and 8k) is coming to the Snoqualmie Valley on May 1, 2010. If you are tired of paying $75 to run 13 miles straight up a hill you are not alone. Flat and fast (not to mention affordable) half marathons are hard to come by in Western Washington which will make this beautiful course a very popular one indeed.

I'm getting super excited...I just hope everything comes together soon. I really want it. :) hehehe I feel like a 3 year old trying to get attention about something I want.

Just looked at my running log and I'm already at my annual goal for this time of year and I still have 1/2 the month to go. Heck yea!!! Loving this training thing.

That is super exciting! I ride a specialized and love it. It isn't as fancy as the tarmac but I love the company. I've ridden specialized stumpjumpers and rockhoppers in the past and they rock!

I'm going to buy a Specialized Tarmac (men's)...I went to The Bicycle Centre in Everett and they were freakin awesome!!!!!!!!! One of the guys that works there took a Trek bike and I took the Specialized out and we did different terrain and would switch back and forth so I could feel each bike back to back on the different terrain. I fell in love with the Tarmac! :)

You are right. Not just moms I think we are doing more than most people. So what kind of bike are you eyeing? New gear is so fun!

I have a bike but it needs new brakes and I'm buying a new one at the end of the month so really it's not worth investing in brakes...so, I'm stuck on the Spin bike till than. UGH. I'm gonna go to the pool and than take the kids for a walk. Better than nothing right? Ya know...at least we're up and doing...more than most moms.
