I am looking for a tria race top that is made for women with a long torso. I want something that is not going to be riding up the entire time and is comfortable. For instance...the lululemon tops typically are great for me because they stretch down below hip bones. Does any one have advice on a good tri top for ladies that fits as such?
I don't want it to be loose in the water either...so a fine line..
I wore this: http://shop.pearlizumi.com/product.php?mode=view&product_id=164... (They don't make it anymore so it's not on their site now). I wore a cute Brooks Glycerin printed bra under it for the swim and put this top on for bike and run. It was nice and long (I'm 5'9") and not super tight, plus with the InRCool, I stayed dry. It was great.
Oh wow...Great recommendation....I am excited to try
I can't seem to tell--does this top have pocket?
I don't think it does. I never use pockets on the top though so it didn't bother me. Nope - just checked.
Can't believe I'm saying this ... try Tri-Girl .. womed specific...
hahahahaha don't be bashful. I appreciate the insight! You have had me googling up a storm:)
http://tri-eva.com/ this site has womens tri clothing
Along the clothing line..... I just bought a killer expensive pair of cycling shorts. My last IM I wore the same shorts biking and running and wished I had changed because the shorts drove me crazy half way through the run so I decided to go for super comfort and wear cycling shorts instead of tri shorts- any thoughts out there?
I wore bike shorts for the bike and then a super cute running skirt for the run. I was so happy about that decision!!
Nice to know... Every decision seems to be this big thought out process for me even though this is my 4th IM!!!
check out the Team Estrogen website. I have a triathlete friend that works there, if you call and tell them what you are looking for, they will be able to recommend something. Had great luck finding tri shorts this way.
I just bought a kit from SOAS and they are longer than most tri tops. I am pretty happy with it so far. http://soasracing.com/
