Look for a place sooner rather than later. I booked a house on Sept 1 and the agent was saying that a lot of the places were already gone

Loved my IM Canada 08 experience, even with water in the lake about 10 degrees colder than I like. BRRR. Penticton totally lived up to all the wonderful things people said about it. Can't wait to go back in a few years when I'm in a new AG. :-) It was cool seeing Sr. Madonna on the run course, but sad later learning she didn't make the midnight cutoff.

Hi - I'm headed up to Canada for 09. Was there this year working aid the aid station at the bottom of Richter Pass - it was awesome. Did Coeur d'Alene this year as my first Ironman - now I'm hooked

I thought it only sensible to link to this group. I have done 10 Ironman Canada and I consider Penticton part of my global village and the Hirds to bepart of my close family. I am from England and I know I will be back. Penticton is the first nation term for a place you can never leaveds. regards

3 weeks ago i did my first IM canada, what a great race. I still feel the enthousiasm of the volunteers. The course is beautiful but tough. I really enjoyed the race. I've done lots of races in Europe (also IM), but this one was very special. I hope to be back in an few years!

You can even send directly from your smartphones on race day, so let your support crew know to send us some shots of you during the race!
