Sorry, not race related, but more after race/tourist(y) related.
After the race, Im spending the days until friday, in Loiusville until i fly back home that night. My question is; from locals, is there anything recommended to do or see in the remaining days?
i havent secured accomodation after the monday in case i decide to perhaps visit another city - or anything... im open to suggestions.

this is a real foodie city wit great resurants scattered all over the city.
Churchell Down of course, and there is the Slugger museum.
Take in a Bats game at Slugger Field.
just over the river if the Falls of the Ohio center, Fossils and natural nistory of the area.
Blue Grass Brewing (BBC), Against the Grain at Slugger Field, The New Albanian Brewing @ Rich-Os, just over the river in Indiana.
The George Rogers Clark house in Locust Grove (as in Lewis and Clark fame).
Just South is The Bernheim Forest and preserve with wonderful trails and also The Jefferson Memorial Forest for more but different forest trails.
On the IM bike routs you will pass very close by anothe smaller nature preserve in Oldham county named Cresey-Mahan Nature preserve () where my son's middle & high school cross country practice.
