Rim Rock training beer.

A friend, Jeff, believes that every important race should have it's own appropriate training beer. Or maybe, beer of training. A beer that get's you through the long days, gives you something to look forward to, whispers in your ear, "You can do it man!" Got to remain POSITIVE!

I am having a hard time remaining positive right now. It is ten days from the Harvest Moon Duathlon. It will be my first time ever to run a 5K, bike 56 miles, and run 13.1 miles for a total of 72.2 miles in a single day. I'm guessing that it take me between 7 and 8 hours (30 minutes for the 5K, 4 hours for the 56 mile bike, and 2 1/2 hours for the half marathon) to complete Harvest Moon. That's being conservative, and yet that is a huge amount of time on the course. I'm ready to be on the course… Continue
